ABOUT DRAWN FROM COCOON^®

A Story of Transformation

My name is Destiny Harris, and I started Drawn from Cocoon^® from a desire to create something meaningful with my hands.

All of my silk scarves and wraps emerge through emotion, movement, colour, and quiet moments of discovery. Rather than working from fixed ideas, I am drawn to exploration, allowing each piece to become what it is meant to be.

My journey was unplanned, shaped over many years by curiosity, experimentation, and a growing desire to create work that feels personal, emotive, and completely unique.

The journey from cocoon to silk, is a story of transformation and becoming, which reflects the meaning behind Drawn from Cocoon^® and mirrors my own creative journey as an artist.

My faith, quietly shapes how I see beauty, wonder, transformation, and creation itself.

Each scarf and wrap is individually created and hand-painted on 100% Mulberry silk and finished with hand-rolled hems.

Made in Gqeberha, South Africa. Created slowly and intentionally.
